The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) has announced a key Preferred Partnership with specialist insights provider MyTravelResearch.com.
In response to demand from PATA members, the two organisations have reached a 2-year agreement to support PATA’s strategic focus on providing insights, forecasts and analysis to help members make better business decisions.
Together MyTravelResearch.com and PATA will collaborate on the development of accessible insights to drive growth of the visitor economy within and to the region. The information will support the implementation of PATA’s ‘Next Generation’ mPOWER platform, which delivers data, forecasts and insights from the PATA Strategic Intelligence Centre to members’ mobile devices anywhere in the world.
According to Director of MyTravelResearch.com, Ms Carolyn Childs, MyTravelResearch.com has long shared PATA’s vision of building better businesses across the visitor economy in the Pacific Asia region.
“The Preferred Partnership agreement is the tangible expression of our shared vision, enabling us to support PATA in making a real difference in the most dynamic region in the world,” said Ms Childs.
“We are particularly excited about the opportunity to help PATA harness the immense value of its mPower platform. We’re also keen to leverage PATA’s powerful network to target our unique ‘Insights to Action’ philosophy where it can achieve the best results.
“PATA has an unrivalled positioning thanks to its ability to connect all parts of the visitor economy across the whole region.”
PATA CEO Mr Martin J Craigs is equally enthusiastic about the benefits of the preferred arrangement.
“The partnership with MyTravelResearch.com provides a vital support to our Strategic Intelligence Centre, equipping us to extend the reach and effectiveness of our insights delivery – a key pillar of PATA’s mission. About MyTravelResearch.com
MyTravelResearch.com exists to build the visitor economy and tourism businesses by putting the voice of the customer and best practice business thinking into an easy to implement, hands-on approach.
The business was started out of concern that market research insight freely available by governments and various sources with the ability to improve visitation and revenue was not being incorporated into business practices.
Many players in the travel industry vertical are time poor without the time to trawl through thick reports and decipher insights that may be relevant to them. They are also often without the ability to interpret research reporting into a practical tactical level. MyTravelResearch.com ‘translates’ reports from thick, often complicated language into easy to understand and actionable items in a variety of delivery methods.
